Ingredients
- 4 tbsps soy sauce
- 2 tbsps lemon juice
- 2 tbsps sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsps grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 ½ pounds chicken thighs or breasts (skinless, boneless)
- 2 scallions, sliced, for garnish
- 2 tbsps neutral oil (optional, if pan frying)
Preparation
- Mix together all ingredients except chicken. Cut chicken into ½ inch pieces and toss with marinade. Let marinate in the fridge for an hour.
- Grill or cook over medium-high heat in a large skillet, roughly 2 minutes a side. Be careful here, as the sugar and honey can easily burn. Garnish with scallions.
