Ingredients
- 1 cup dried anchovies
- 3 tbsps neutral oil
- 1 minced clove garlic
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsps toasted sesame oil
- 2 tsps gochujang
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Preparation
- Soak anchovies in water for about 10 minutes.
- Put oil in skillet and heat on medium. Drain and add anchovies to oil. Saute until browned and crisp, about 8 minutes.
- Add rest of ingredients except sesame seeds and saute another 2 minutes for flavors to meld. Adjust seasonings to taste, then transfer anchovies to paper towels to drain and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
