Ingredients

Preparation:

  1. Make sure sprouts are washed, then place in a saucepan with a tightly fitting lid and add 1 tsp salt and 1 cup water.  Cover and cook over high heat, undisturbed, for 6-7 minutes.
  2. Drain well and quickly plunge into a bowl of ice water (this process, known as shocking, stops the cooking process and maintains texture and color).  Drain, then toss with the remaining ingredients and serve.
