Ingredients
- 1 bunch spinach, cleaned, 10-12 ounces
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1-2 minced scallions
- ½ tsp sugar
- 1 tsp each: soy sauce, toasted sesame oil, and sesame seeds
- 2 tsps gochujang (optional, for a spicier version)
- Additional tsp soy sauce (optional, for a spicier version)
Preparation
- Blanch spinach in boiling water, lightly salted, for about 45 seconds, then drain and shock in a bowl of ice water.
- Let cool, then drain and squeeze out excess water. Chop spinach roughly, then add remaining ingredients. Let meld for about 10 minutes for optimum flavor.
