THERE ARE MANY OTHER categories of banchan, as well, such as hoe (raw or lightly blanched seafood), jorim (simmered dishes), muk (grain porridges), pyeonyuk (boiled and pressed meat), po (dried meat), seon (stuffed dishes), and ssam (wrapped dishes).  See below for a variety of other types of banchan to round out your Korean meal.
