Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes, peeled
- ½ green bell pepper
- 1 carrot, peeled
- ½ white onion
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice wine
- 2 minced cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tsp each toasted sesame oil and sesame seeds
Preparation
- Cut the vegetables into 1-inch pieces. Mix soy, sugar, rice wine, garlic, honey and ½ cup of water in a bowl.
- Heat tbsp oil in a pan and cook potatoes and carrot for about 5 minutes. Add sauce and heat to a boil, then cover and lower heat, cooking until potatoes are tender, roughly 7 minutes.
- Toss in onion, bell pepper and simmer uncovered for another 5 minutes. Drizzle with sesame oil and seeds and serve.
