Preparation

  1. Cut tofu into ½ inch thick slices.  On a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and fry tofu, turning once, until slightly browned, about 2 minutes a side.
  2. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over tofu.  Cover pan, decrease heat to low and cook for about 10 minutes, so tofu is cooked and coated with sauce.  Transfer tofu to plate and drizzle with sauce.
