Ingredients
- 6 large eggs, hard boiled
- 2 tbsp of rice wine
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 shallot or fat green onion
Preparation
- Peel the eggs. Add all other ingredients to the saucepan along with a cup of water and raise to a boil.
- Add eggs to saucepan, lower the heat, and simmer for about 15 minutes so the sauce is reduced by half. Roll the eggs around during cooking so that entire egg gets coated in sauce.
- Cool eggs, slice and serve at room temperature or cold.
