Preparation

  1. Bring honey, sugar, 1 tbsp water, and a touch of salt to boil.  Boil for about 3 minutes, then stir in seeds and nuts.
  2. Turn out onto parchment paper and shape with an oiled rolling pin into a ½ inch thick rectangle or square.  Let cool slightly, then cut into shapes or squares with a sharp knife (dip knife in cold water between slicing to keep the mixture from sticking).
