Ingredients
- 1 cup sweet rice flour
- 1/3 cup hot water
- 8 ounces red bean paste (available in some markets, or made from scratch as in danpatjuk recipe)
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- Pumpkin seeds, for garnish (optional)
Preparation
- Mix 1 cup rice flour with water to make dough. If additional water needed, add. Knead for about 5 minutes, set aside to rest for 5-10 minutes.
- Divide dough into 4 pieces of equal weight and roll each piece into a 5 inch round. Put 2 tbsp of red bean paste in the center, and fold dough over to create a crescent shape. Seal well.
- Heat both oils in a large skillet and fry crescents 1-2 minutes a side. Press 2 or 3 pumpkin seeds in each crescent for garnish, if you like.
