SUL IS THE GENERAL name for alcoholic spirits in Korea. There are many categories, including rice wine (clear, milky, or flavored), distilled liquors such as soju, and beer. There is a traditional etiquette surrounding drinking in Korean culture, as well: be sure to pour for your elders and to receive a drink with both hands.
