AUTHOR’S NOTE

 

I hope you enjoyed this final chapter of the Cunningham Family’s story!

I confess that I’m tearing up a little as I write this—I’ve had such an incredible, emotional, and rewarding experience writing about these guys, and I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has taken this journey with me. I couldn’t have done it without your support.

 

While I don’t have any plans to write more novels about the Cunninghams, you might someday see a glimpse of them in some of my other books (you might have noticed a couple of references in this book to the Fontaines—I consider these series to take place in the same story universe!), and I definitely haven’t written off the idea of releasing a few bonus short stories about these guys for special occasions. ;)

 

In the meantime, though, know that in my head the Cunninghams’ journey goes on long after the final words of this book, and I hope that their story lives on for you, too. To me, their story has always been about more than the romance—it’s been about rising from the ashes of hardship and creating a life full of beauty, love, and laughter. When you open your heart to love, there’s always hope.
