Broth drinks have become trendy foods in boutique dining establishments across the country, so we’ve developed three simple, tasty recipes of our own. These are quick to put together and make the perfect light lunch or bedtime snack. You can use homemade bone broth (here) or a good commercial variety, such as Kettle & Fire.
The instructions are easy: Just stir together the ingredients in a mug and enjoy!
The Enchantress Brothelixir
1 cup warm bone broth
1 teaspoon pine nut oil
½ teaspoon umeboshi plum vinegar
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garam masala
Umeboshi plum vinegar provides a lovely, slightly salty tang, as well as adding probiotic benefits.

½ teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
Pinch of cayenne pepper
Turmeric wins the gold for beating inflammation, and just a hint of black pepper to ensure optimal absorption.
