١،١٥ لولا أنّ السُّؤّال يكذبون ما قُدّس من ردّهم
15.1 If beggars never lied, those who refuse them would never be blessed.120
٢،١٥ لو تعلمون ما أعلم لضحكتم قليلًا ولبكيتم كثيرًا
٣،١٥ لو تعلم البهائم من الموت ما يعلم ٱبن آدم ما أكلتم سمينًا
15.2 If you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep long.121
15.3 If cattle knew death as men know it, you would never eat a fat animal.122
٤،١٥ لو نظرتم إلى الأجل ومسيره لأبغضتم الأمل وغروره
٥،١٥ لو كان المؤمن في جحر فأرة لقيّض الله له فيه من يؤذيه
٦،١٥ لو كانت الدنيا تزن عند الله جناح بعوضة ما سقى كافرًا منها شربة ماء
٧،١٥ لو أنّ لٱبن آدم واديين من مال لٱبتغى إليهما ثالثًا١ ولا يملأ جوف ٱبن آدم إلّا التراب ويتوب الله على من تاب
٨،١٥ لو أنّكم تتوكّلون على الله حقّ توكّله لرزقكم كما يرزق الطير تغدو خِماصًا وتروح بِطانًا

15.4 If you heeded your life as it ticks away, you would come to despise the deceptions of hope.
15.5 God could send something to hurt a believer even if he hid in a burrow.
15.6 If God valued the world even a smidgen—the weight of a gnat’s wing—he would not allow disbelievers a single sip of water from it.
15.7 If a person owns two valleys brimful with wealth, he will still seek a third—man’s greed is sated only in death.123 Still, God forgives the repentant.
15.8 If you placed complete trust in God, he would sustain you as he sustains the birds—in the morning their stomachs are empty, by evening their stomachs are full.
٩،١٥ لولم تذنبوا لجاء الله بقوم يذنبون فيغفر لهم ويدخلهم الجنّة
١٠،١٥ لو لم تذنبوا لخشيتُ عليكم ما هو أشدّ من ذلك العُجْب العُجْب
15.9 If you never sin, God will create a people who do, then forgive them and grant them paradise.
15.10 Even if you never sin, I fear something much worse for you. Vanity! Vanity!
