Can a river flow beside itself ?

Can two bodies move together

Through time?

Or are they

Time itself: a liquid motion

Over stasis?

Some say Osiris

Was the Nile. And the banks

It overflowed. And the green

Stalks rising though the rich mud.

That the whole cycle of flood

And renewal was love.
