The Library on BN.com, PCs, Macs, and Mobile Devices

One of the many great things about the NOOK is that it’s not a literary island. When you download a book to your NOOK, you can read it other places as well—on the Barnes & Noble website, your PC or Mac, as well as on Android phones and tablets, and on iPhones and iPads.

To view your Library and read books on the Web, head to www.bn.com and click the My NOOK button at the top of the page. Once you’re logged in, click the Library tab, and you’ll come to your NOOK Library. From here you can manage books, read them if you’ve downloaded a NOOK reader, recommend them, and so on.

The site offers additional features, including getting recommendations, interacting with NOOK Friends, and so on.

To read books on your PC or Mac, you need to download Barnes & Noble’s free eReader app. The NOOK app does more than just let you read books—it offers a NOOK-like experience, including browsing and searching your Library.

Search in the Apple App Store or in the Android Market for the NOOK app. You can also go direcly to the BN.com download page by typing this address into your browser: http://bit.ly/vBjE2B. The app looks and works a bit differently for different devices, but on all of them you can browse your Library, and download and read books.
