After slapping hands all around the computer room, the Abraqa team reconvened to Bellard’s office, where Bellard got on the office phone, his tone turning serious.

“Bring the van to the side entrance. Tell the support team already in position to be on the lookout for the person in the photo that was distributed. But be aware, he may be in disguise.” Bellard hung up the phone, looked at John Rae and Elizabeth, then Maggie.

“How about the two officers slotted for Aunt Amina’s apartment?” she asked.

“They’re in position. Aunt Amina has left. She’s at her tea shop, out of the way. But we’re going to grab Kafka before he gets inside the building anyway.”

“I know.” Maggie got out her work phone, which Bellard’s people had finally returned to her, and called Aunt Amina, to check in on her.

“Operation Abraqa is live,” Bellard said, standing up, rubbing his hands.
