Epilogue

“DIM SUM, DIM SUM.” Frannie hummed to herself then looked up to find three sets of eyes staring at her. “What?”

“You’re singing about your food.”

Frannie glanced at Galen and noted the twinkle in his eyes. “Technically, I was humming, but whatever you say.”

Shayna and Benny exchanged looks then turned to Galen. “What’s happening with you two? Frannie’s so happy she looks like she swallowed a light bulb.”

Galen speared a piece of dim sum and popped it into Frannie’s mouth. “Simple,” he said, smiling at the woman he’d never stopped loving. “We’re starting at the beginning.”

Shayna decided to play along. “What beginning is that?”

“A high school. A Christmas dance. A glitter ball and some mistletoe.” Frannie smiled at Galen. “And a kiss to remember.”
