SPLENDID LOW CARB BREAD RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

1/2 tsp of herbs, such as oregano, rosemary, or basil

1/2 tsp of garlic or onion powder (optional)

1 tbsp of baking powder

5 tbsp of psyllium husk powder

1/2 cup of almond flour

1/2 cup of coconut flour (optional)

1/4 tsp of salt

1 1/2 cup of egg whites (about 8 to 10 large egg whites)

3 tbsp of oil or melted butter

2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar

1/3 to 3/4 cup of hot water

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat up the oven to 350 F. Grease a 9x5" loaf pan.

2.  Whisk the baking powder, almond flour, coconut flour, garlic or onion powder, psyllium husk powder, and salt together in a large bowl.

3. Stir in apple cider vinegar, egg whites plus oil. Gently add in hot water bit by bit, stirring until dough increase in size. Do not add too much water

Loaf:

4. Mold dough into rectangle and transfer to the grease loaf pan.

5. Bake in the oven 350 Degrees for 60 to 75 minutes, until crust feels firm and brown on top. (Don’t take it out too early even if its feels done, it can easily deflate)

6. Remove and let cool in pan.
