I am a huge fan of vegetables for breakfast, but they don’t have to be visible for us to benefit from their nutrients. In this case, the veggies are hidden in a delicious smoothie. If you don’t like the look of green smoothies, just use fewer greens. My philosophy is that some greens are better than no greens.
MAKES 2 SMOOTHIES (1 CUP EACH)
Place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until very, very smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
