The prime minister tells a wounded Canadian war vet that there’s just not enough to go around. Seems cold-hearted, but come on, it’s not like Justin campaigned on reinstating cuts to military pensions, right? Oh wait. He totally did.
Even after taking the government to court and even after the Liberals caved, the amounts offered were still inadequate to Canada’s veterans. But so what, right? We have to cut corners somewhere, after all! Those $8.1 million outdoor skating rinks on Parliament Hill aren’t going to pay for themselves!
