In 2012, Justin Trudeau challenged the Conservatives to a charity boxing match. His opponent was a young but troubled senator, Patrick Brazeau, of the Anishinabe First Nation.

Justin won the match, after which he symbolically cut off some of the senator’s ponytail (just in case losing a boxing match on national television wasn’t emasculating enough to a Native male).
