Our old friend Nathan Cullen was curious about how much a comparable all-expenses paid vacation for nine people to an exclusive private island would have cost. (That was how many guests travelled to the Aga Khan’s island: Justin, his family, a full-time nanny, and others, including Anna Gainey, president of the Liberal Party of Canada.) He contacted several travel agencies and calculated that a similar vacation would have cost $100,000.
This raised a more serious question. As Mr. Cullen put it: “I also want to know the difference between asking for a $100,000 vacation and asking for $100,000 in an envelope.”
Mr. Prime Minister, we’re still waiting on your answer!
