It got worse (or better, from a purely entertainment point of view). Here is Justin trying desperately to spin the scandal in terms that will resonate with those mythical middle-class voters he’s so enamoured with:
“Aga Khan is someone who has been a long-time friend of my family’s, a friend of mine, a friend, ah, to Canada as well, ah, and for me to look for a place to have a quiet vacation where I could have quality family time is, ah, something we all look for with our families.”
So you see? It was all about quality time with the kids. And that’s something we can all relate to, right? Because who among us hasn’t jetted off to a billionaire’s private island for free? Right?
