SEPTEMBER 26

This is the toffee apple of the constellations. Sweet and fresh underneath, but rolled in molten sugar so hot it could burn a chunk off the moon. The protective sheath of toffee acts as a sticky kind of armour for this old softy. But most people want to bite a chunk out of September 26 so it's probably best for this date to remember that toffee apples who seriously want their hearts to stay intact keep better tucked away in the fridge.

It's always a problem when sex appeal seems to have been ladled on to a person who isn't innately driven by sex and is often flummoxed by the whole thing. Best solution for both sexes is to choose a reasonably monogamous way of life, thus protecting themselves from the confusion of passing dates.

Because of their alluring image, these guys do well in fashionable areas. They could be the editor of Tatler, a supermodel, youth television presenter, clothes designer, pop star, dancer and any other area which benefits from glitter. No, the head is not turned, because they are not toffee all the way through. Nor do they get stuck into one trend, so they do well. Often, they are the emotional anchorman or woman for others. The person who sees the business is run properly and that people are civil to each other, plus work in proper conditions.

Children are drawn to September 26. They trust them more than other adults because this individual understands the concept of fun and playing. Neither he nor she sidesteps a child and shoves them onto somebody else to entertain.

They won't necessarily have children of their own. Those who have difficulty can find medical intervention helpful. But many throw their desires to the wind and choose to stop worrying. Other people's children can always do with an extra adult to be friendly with and to help guide and nurture and that's what usually happens.

A mind of the calibre of mine cannot derive its nutriment from cows.

(George Bernard Shaw)

BODY

It's an exhausting life. Those keen to try the latest energy fad should brew a cup of Kombucha tea. This humble fungus from Russia is said to prolong life, bestow energy, and strengthen the immune system. Float the culture on sweet tea, then leave to ferment in a warm environment for eight days. The resulting liquid, utterly revolting-looking but tasting like scrumpy cider, is supposedly rich in anti-bacterial acids, B complex vitamins and a powerful detoxifying agent, glucuronic acid. It makes another culture while it's stewing which you can use for more tea and give a bit away to friends.

MIND

September 26 dreams a great deal, often of visits to the doctor followed by extraordinary adventures. The first doesnt mean you re ill, just that you should take more care. The second indicates that you can look forward to some good news.
