Pad Holding & Heavy Bags
Kicks: Pad Holding & Foot Placement
Round/Roundhouse Kick:
Pad held to kicker’s height with the arm flexed 45 to 90 degrees and away from the body. (Foot placement should match the kicker-place the same foot forward)
Snap Kick and Knee Strike:
Pads held stacked on top of each other with the lead hand on the bottom and the rear hand supporting supporting on top. (Foot placement should match the kicker/striker-place the same foot forward)

Punches: Pad Holding & Foot Placement
Jab: Pad held head high angled to the shoulder of the puncher with feet in a position matching the puncher. (Lead hand)
Cross: Pad held head high angled to the shoulder of the puncher with feet in a position matching the puncher. (Rear hand)
Hook: Pad held chin high with the arm flexed to 90 degrees in tight to the body. (Can be performed with either the lead or rear hand)
Uppercut: Pad held on rear hand chin high palm down. (Can be performed with either the lead or rear hand)
NOTE : Foot position should always match that of the puncher-same foot forward.
