APP: We live in a sex-crazed culture. It’s everywhere and sells everything from vitamins to cars. The Internet has made porn readily available to anyone online. There has never been so much pressure to perform or indulge in perversion. If it’s not “friends with benefits,” it’s “sexting.” Growing numbers of guys and girls are sending highly suggestive and sexually explicit messages back and forth to each other. It usually starts casually in hopes that it will end in a sexual encounter. Popular culture lacks moral absolutes or any kind of sexual morality code. Consequences aren’t considered until it’s too late. At some point we all have to decide what we will do with the sexual dimension of our lives. God’s perspective on sex is totally different from our culture. In the Bible He helps us to understand that sexual immorality is the only sin we commit against ourselves. God also gives us guidelines for the role of sexuality in human interactions as it was designed to be. God created sex as a good thing to be enjoyed between a man and a woman through the commitment of marriage. It is the most amazing and intimate way to express love for one’s spouse.
Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.

Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.
