Work Out with a Friend

Once you have resolved to live a healthier lifestyle, learn about good nutrition, introduce lots of fresh vegetables and fruits into your and your family’s meals, and invite a friend to be your exercise buddy. Walk during your lunch hour. Ride bikes or roller blade around a local park. Take a swim aerobics class. Do yoga together. The point is to make exercise fun, a social event as much as a workout. When you are laughing and conversing, the time goes by much more quickly. Socializing stimulates the mind just as exercise increases blood flow. Both nourish you and should be part of a healthy lifestyle.
