Bacon Corn Bread

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F. In an oven-safe 3½- or 4-qt. nonstick Dutch oven melt butter over medium heat. Immediately remove pot from heat. Add milk, eggs, and corn to butter in pot; stir to combine. Add the next five ingredients (through salt). Stir just until moistened (batter should be lumpy).

Stir in half the bacon pieces and ½ cup of the cheese. Sprinkle remaining bacon and cheese over top. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm.
