Our Thoughts Can Consume Our Captivity

Let us look into the palm of our hands.

And then, search inside our heart.

When we keep them closed to no release.

The grip can be too strong to pull a part.

And understanding, if we hold on to why forever in life.

What will always stand in our way?

If we stop knocking our own self out.

The punch won’t feel like a fall for us to say.

But, when we learn how to bob and weave.

And realize we are the head and not the tail.

There’s a cushion Jesus Christ laid down for that fall

And as we get up, that jab caused less damage to dwell.

Hezekiah went through familiar situations of seeing.

His father raising him with decisions of diversity.

Even, as Hezekiah saw some things not to understand.

When king, he chose to open the temple and change the past decree.

Jer.29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts peace, and not evil, to give you an expected end.”

Jer. 29:14 “And I will be found of you, said the Lord: and I will turn away your captivity and will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the Lord; and will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carry away captive.”

Philippians 3:13 “Brethen, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”

Philippians 3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

So, when we feel a quick mention of how it use to be.

Of, our mind deceiving us from being free.

Let us open the future and not think reluctantly.

Our thoughts can consume our captivity.
