Robert is a pet, a human pleasure slave, and well past his prime.
So when teenage Duke Thomar of Aylian buys him via mail order, Robert first suspects a dreadful misunderstanding. The duke is young, handsome and headstrong, and the very last thing he needs while struggling to secure his reign over his planet is an ageing bargain bin pet by his side.
Only, the more time Robert spends with Thomar, the more he learns that the young duke rarely makes mistakes. Unless, of course, Thomar dashes off on one of his mad adventures, which Robert increasingly becomes a part of...
‘The Pet and his Duke’ is a standalone m/m romance novel in the ‘Virasana Empire’ universe. Written by Rainbow Book Award winners Beryll and Osiris Brackhaus, it is a story of self-determination and love, and Happily-Ever-Afters in the most unlikely places. Warning: contains slavery, non-con and lots of fluff.

Authors' Note
––––––––
This book takes place in a fictional universe, with a history and values very different from our own. It deals heavily with problematic subjects such as slavery and abuse, featuring several characters that are damaged in one way or another.
So to make this absolutely clear: None of the views expressed in this books are our own. Neither do we condone slavery, nor sex trafficking or abuse of any kind. We firmly believe that any sexual interaction should be based on consent and remain safe and sane for all involved. Nothing that happens in this book should be seen in any way as a template for anything in real life.
That said - we hope you have as much fun reading this story as we had writing it. Watching two people carve out a niche of love and happiness in a deeply fucked-up world has a charm of its own, and if 'Thombert' can bring you a few well-spent escapist hours, we'll be all the happier for it.
Love,
Beryll & Osiris
