Ketogenic Entrée Recipes for Christmas.

Christmas Keto Turkey with Herb Butter.

Ingredients.

For Turkey:

15LB Whole Turkey.

1 Large Onion.

1 Lemon (Halved).

5 Sticks Celery.

4 Cloves Garlic.

3 TBSP Avocado Oil.

1 TBSP Salt.

1 TBSP Black Pepper.

For Herb Butter:

1/2 Cup Salted Butter.

1/4 Cup Chopped Parsley.

4 Cloves Garlic.

Method.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mince garlic and add to a small bowl, combine with parsley and butter and mix until evenly distributed.

Rinse the turkey inside and out, pat skin dry and place onto a rack inside a roasting pan.

Chop the celery into chunks, slice lemon in half and mince the garlic.

Place celery, lemon and minced garlic into the turkey cavity.

Place your fingers/hands under the skin of the turkey to loosen it from the meat. When loosened rub the herb butter mixture over as much of the turkey meat below the skin as possible.

Pour the avocado oil over the turkey and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Place turkey into the oven (breast side up) for 2.5-3 hours. Half way through, baste the turkey with its own juices in the pan.

Once the breast meat registers at a temperature of 160F take the turkey out of the oven.

Cover turkey with aluminum foil for 30 minutes to finish the cooking process.

Carve and enjoy!

Keto Maple Glazed Ham.

Ingredients.

1 Whole Leg of Ham (On Bone).

1/2 Cup Sugar Free Maple Syrup.

2 TBSP Dijon Mustard.

2 TBSP Tamari.

Method.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all ingredients into a small glass bowl and mix until smooth.

Using a sharp knife, remove the skin of the ham and, once removed, score the fat with diagonal lines, being careful to cut the meat.

Brush glaze over all of the scored fat on the ham and place into the oven for 20 minutes.

Remove ham from oven and baste with the glaze and pan juices.

Turn oven temperature up to 400 degrees and return ham to the oven for another 10-15 minutes.

Remove ham from oven, slice and serve.

Keto Prime Rib Roast.

Ingredients.

1 Rib Roast (1/2LB Per Person).

1 TBSP Salt.

2 TSP Black Pepper.

1 Bunch Fresh Rosemary.

Method.

Remove roast from packaging and allow to come to room temperature.

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Cover all of the rib roast with salt and pepper.

Place rosemary on bottom of a roasting pan, place rib roast on top of rosemary.

Place rib roast in oven for 30 minutes, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and cook for roughly 15 minutes per pound of meat.

Remove roast from oven once finished cooking and cover with aluminum foil for 20 minutes to rest.

Keto Garlic & Lemon Shrimp.

Ingredients.

2 TBSP Butter (Divided).

1 TBSP Avocado Oil.

1 LB Medium Peeled Shrimp.

1 Lemon Sliced.

Juice of 1 Fresh Lemon.

3 Cloves Minced Garlic.

1 TSP Crushed Red Pepper Flakes.

1/4 TSP Salt.

2 TBSP Dry White Wine.

Method.

In a large skillet over a medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of the butter and avocado oil. Add shrimp to the butter and oil mixture along with the lemon slices, garlic and crush red pepper flakes, season with salt and cook stirring until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Remove skillet from heat and stir in the remaining butter, lemon juice, white wine and season again with salt, serve and enjoy.
