Makes 24 sandwiches
1 lb. deli bologna, cubed
3/4 lb. pasteurized process cheese spread, cubed
1/3 c. mayonnaise-type salad dressing
1/4 c. mustard
1/4 c. dried, minced onion
sweet pickle relish to taste
24 hot dog buns, split
Grind bologna and cheese together in a food processor. Add remaining ingredients except buns; mix thoroughly. Spread generously in buns; wrap tightly in aluminum foil. Arrange on a baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
Make some tangy pickled veggies next time you finish a jar of dill pickles! Simply cut up fresh carrots, green peppers, celery and other vegetables, drop them into the leftover pickle juice and refrigerate for a few days.
