Achievements
1. In 1994 Bob was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
2. In 2001, Bob came third in the BBC’s ‘Greatest Lyricists of all Time’ list - only behind Bob Dylan and John Lennon.
3. Bob is credited with bringing Reggae music and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience.
4. The compilation album Legend is reggae’s best-selling album, having gone ten times platinum, and selling 25 million copies worldwide.
5. A statue of Bob was erected at the United Nations building.
6. Exodus was chosen as the greatest album of the 20th Century by time magazine.
7. In 2001, Bob was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
8. Bob was also awarded a Grammy lifetime achievement award in 2001.
9. Despite his lifetime achievement award, Bob never actually won a Grammy for any of his songs or albums!
10. Bob was awarded a Jamaican Order of Merit
