“That’s ridiculous,” Bria replied easily over a ridiculously decadent breakfast.
It was one of the perks of her new fast and furriest alter ego. Her metabolism was in super fabulous mode. Meaning, she could eat like a heifer and not get any fatter, er, fluffier. That was a nicer word. But anyway, her point was she would have to seriously work at it if she wanted to gain weight. Popping a still whistling sausage link in her mouth, Bria moaned. Real pork. Not grisly turkey.
Not that she hated turkey, she just didn’t like ground turkey. It was weird and gritty. Chicken was better, but nothing could beat pork in her humble opinion. And since chicken sausage links were not the easiest to find, she would rather skip it than go turkey.
Sigh.
Only now she didn’t have to.
Hooray!
“Are you listening to me?” Trench asked, eyebrows raised.
Damn. He looked so good sitting at the breakfast nook in a pair of teal cotton boxer briefs. All those rippling muscles, so nice and tanned, and that just got out of bed tousled look on his black-streaked reddish brown locks. Yum. Like seriously, yum yum.
“What?”
“Bria, I know it’s fast, but since you said it, I am saying it to---”
“So, you are saying that I am better than you in every way cause I said it first?”
“What? No. I am saying I love you too,” he growled, but couldn’t contain his grin.
“Awesome. So, now that we both admit I am totally loveable, what was it you wanted?” she asked, then screeched as she pawed through his fridge.
“Ohmygahd. Is this bacon? Real porky, fatty, delicious, thick cut, hickory smoked, no nitrates, bacon?”
“Um. I don’t know how to answer that. It says it on the package, Bri,” he replied.
“I love you!” she shouted.
“Because of my bacon?”
“Yes. And your sausage.”
She said and could have cried if it wasn’t true. And ridiculous.
“Kitten? I have no idea what you are talking about, but if it makes you happy, I swear I will buy you truckloads of the stuff. Just let me protect you.”
Ooh, points for him. Bria squinted at the man. Knowing now that he was not above bribery. She’d tried reasoning with him, but she would just have to keep her own secrets for now. Besides, it was too much fun taunting him with breakfast meats.
“Mmm, you know I think I like sausage better than bacon,” she said, eyeing his package and licking her lips.
Trench’s cheeks went pink. His breathing stuttered, and determined as he was to have this conversation, Bria knew she had him where she wanted him. Mainly with his boxer briefs, the aforementioned teal ones around his ankles.
“Fuck, kitten. I am trying to k-keep. Oh gods, to keep you saf---”
“Mmm, taste good,” she moaned around his mushroomed head.
In the last few seconds, Bria had foregone bacon and pork sausage for the real thing. Sinking to her knees on the cool kitchen tile, she didn’t even mind the sting as she licked her mate’s impressive cock from root to tip. Taking him in her mouth, she swallowed him down as far as he could go, loving the rumble that came from deep inside his chest. Proof that she was doing something right.
“Bria, love, that feels so fucking good,” he growled.
When he would have gently pulled her away, Bria growled back. She wasn’t about to let go of her prize. If someone had asked her just a day ago, she would have said oral sex was not something she was very interested in. But with him, that all changed.
Bria moaned around his incredible girth, using her mouth, tongue, teeth, and her hands to give him pleasure. Most surprising of all was the echoing thrill she felt with every one of his groans and grunts.
Yes, she was turned on. She slid one hand between her legs, rubbing her sex as she sucked him down. It was erotic and sexy, and she never wanted it to end. But when he came, she swallowed. Only when she had consumed every drop did Bria sit back on her heels, grinning like the cat, er, Tiger that got the canary.
Or in this case, the cream.
“Yum,” she said, looking up at Trench’s face.
His eyes glowed with his beast, and he looked one part satisfied and one part hungry. She was hoping the latter was for her. And luckily, he didn’t disappoint. Trench bent down and picked her up as if she weighed nothing at all. Kicking off his boxer briefs, he backed her up to the wall, using it to secure her while he kissed her mouth, her breasts, everywhere he could reach.
“So fucking sexy, kitten,” he growled, his voice more beast than man.
Then he was inside her, and Bria couldn’t think anymore. She could only feel. Not a bad thing since so much of her life, she’d been an overthinker. This was beyond normal thought. This was pure ecstasy, and only he could take her there.
Later, when they’d showered and eaten, Trench sat on the couch with Bria in his arms. She snuggled against his chest, just loving the feel of him so solid and warm beneath her. Again, this was out of her range of experience, but it felt so right. And she was so damn comfortable, she didn’t want to move.
“It’s fast for you, isn’t it?” he asked.
She looked up then, saw the worry and concern on his face. But more than that, she saw the love he had for her right there. Amazingly, she returned his feelings, his intensity. Bria knew she would never feel this way about anyone else.
All the fairytales and Hollywood endings she’d thought she’d outgrown came at her like a hurricane. This was real. She was in love.
“A little,” she replied. “But that’s okay. Fast is better than never.”
He kissed the top of her head, and they sat there together. She never imagined she could enjoy a comfortable silence with anyone, but there she was. Sitting on her mate’s lap in the middle of his enormous living room. The couch was a deep brown color, and soft as velvet.
It was a gorgeous space, and she especially liked the large ceiling to floor windows. The sun was lower in the sky then, but its warmth filled the room and Bria didn’t think she’d ever been happier.
“What are you thinking about?”
“Hmm,” she replied, nuzzling into him.
Her inner Tigress chuffed and purred. The beast was taking some getting used to, but mainly, she felt as if it were an extension of herself. A little snort escaped her as she imagined telling her mom she could turn into an animal. Would her kids be able to as well.?
Crazy. Cool. Cats. That’s us, she thought and snorted again.
“Bria?”
“Oh, nothing really. I’m thinking that this is crazy,” she replied honestly. She couldn’t give him anything less.
“Which part?” he asked, and she felt him grinning against the top of her head.
“The part where I turn into an eight hundred pound predator is pretty bizarre, but I was thinking more about the part where I found the love of my life in a complete stranger with eyes that burn and a heart of gold.”
“You know, no one else in the world would say that about me, right?”
“That’s ridiculous,” she replied. “Your eyes are like a bonfire, especially when your kitty comes out.”
“My kitty?” he scoffed with mock annoyance. “And no, I didn’t mean that part. I meant the part about having a heart of gold,” he whispered at the last, as if it embarrassed him.
Bria wasn’t having any of that. Straddling his waist, she clasped her hands behind his neck and looked him straight in the eyes.
“You listen to me, Trench Tora, I don’t care what anyone else in this world says, and neither should you. You are the most important thing in my world right now, and I say you have a heart of gold.”
“Then it must be true,” he replied, squeezing her waist and mashing his mouth to hers.
Would this ever get old? She wondered as his tongue slid between her lips and he kissed her with such tenderness she could have wept. To think Bria used to doubt her friends when they talked about guys kissing them stupid. Turned out, she was wrong.
Thank fuck.
