In SOLIDWORKS 2018, you can view the parent and child relationships between part features using the Dynamic Reference Visualization options.
- On the FeatureManager Design tree, click the right mouse button on the part name, and then select Dynamic Reference Visualization (Parent).

- On the FeatureManager Design Tree, click the Fillet feature and notice an arrow pointing towards the Revolve feature. This indicates that the Revolve feature is the parent of the Fillet feature.
- Click the right mouse button on the part and select the Dynamic Reference Visualization (Child) option.

- Click the Revolve feature in the FeatureManager Design Tree. Notice the arrows originating from the Revolve feature and pointing to the Right Plane and Origin. This indicates that they are the parents of the Revolve feature. In addition, notice the arrows pointing downwards to the Cut-Extrude and Fillet features. They are the child features of the Revolve feature.
