Sectioning an Assembly with Transparency

1. On the View Heads Up Toolbar, click the Section View icon.
2. On the PropertyManager, select Zonal from the Section Method section.
3. On the PropertyManager, select Front Plane from the Section 1 section.

1. On the PropertyManager, check the Transparency Section Components section.
2. Select the components to turn transparent, as shown.

1. Adjust the Section Transparency in the Transparency Section Components section.
2. Click OK.

1. Click the Section View icon on the View Heads Up Toolbar.
2. Click the Save icon on the Quick Access Toolbar.
3. Click Save All on the Save Modified Documents dialog.
4. Type Ch8_tutorial1 in the File name box and click Save.
5. Select Save internally(inside the assembly), and then click OK.
