‘What are you thinking?’ Meera asked Aditya, who had not spoken a word since they left Paradise.
‘Umm ... I noticed something that is bothering me,’ Aditya replied. ‘Do you remember what Dr Mistry had said? About Tanvi’s treatment?’
Meera looked at him inquiringly.
‘She had prescribed an injection only in extreme emergencies. But, when I saw Tanvi’s arm today, I saw so many marks ...’ His voice trailed off.
‘Yeah, now that you mention it, I noticed that too. But .’
‘But what?’ Aditya asked.
‘We’ve already seen how violent Tanvi can be. She has stabbed him once. And today, she attacked him again. How else is Rohit supposed to control her and save himself? He faces this day in and day out.’
‘I guess you are right. I wish he would agree to move her to an institution.’
‘He loves her, Aditya. He won’t let go.’
