Sweet and Spicy Dipping Sauce

Five ingredients come together to create a magically complex sauce.

MAKES ABOUT 1/3 CUP (80 ML)


       EQUIPMENT: A small jar with a lid.

        2 tablespoons soy sauce

        3 tablespoons brown rice vinegar

        1 tablespoon sriracha or other spicy Asian chile sauce

        2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil

        2 tablespoons unrefined raw sugar

Combine the ingredients in the jar, tighten the lid, and shake to blend.

MAKE-AHEAD NOTE: Store in the covered jar in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
