Mint Tea

Makes: 4 servings (4 cups)

Herbal teas can be made from any herb, root, flower, spice, and/or fruit. Depending on what you’re brewing, some may take as long as 15 minutes to develop full flavor; others may need a bit of simmering, especially if you’re including cinnamon or ginger.

  1. Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a small pot. Add the mint, cover, and steep for 10 to 15 minutes, to taste.
  2. Strain, then add sugar to taste and stir until it is completely dissolved. Reheat to serve hot, or serve over ice.
