The Official No-BS Dog Treat Recipe

2 cups old-fashioned oats

2 cups whole wheat flour, plus extra for sprinkling

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 eggs

1 cup pumpkin puree

1 cup diced cranberries

½ cup shredded carrots

 

In a bowl, combine oats, flour, and baking soda.

Add in eggs and pumpkin puree, stirring until well-combined and the mixture forms a shaggy dough.

Stir in cranberries and carrots.

Shape into small cookie-like rounds or roll out on a floured surface and cut using a biscuit cutter.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or until dried for easy storage.

Note: changes in atmosphere can make this recipe wetter or drier in your area. Add a few tablespoons of water or flour as necessary to make this a better-shaped dough.

Store for up to two weeks in the refrigerator in an airtight dry container.
