In life, I try my best to turn a bad situation into a good one and that is no different in my writing. This book is about the choices we make, good or bad, and how they impact the future—ours, the people we love, and those all around us. I sought to spin more lighthearted fun into this one, and hopefully I succeeded. In the end, I think we’d all welcome a do-over once in a while.
I am forever grateful for the Bold Strokes Books team, Radclyffe, Sandy Lowe, and everyone else involved in making my stories go from a very rough draft to a masterpiece in print. Shelley Thrasher, you consistently enhance my writing, give me great grammar tips, and find oodles of repeated words. I cannot thank you enough for your words of wisdom.
My writing family has grown substantially, and is full of loving and talented people who easily share their support. I am so fortunate to be part of this tribe.
Kate, Wes, Haley, and my family. Along with Mom and Dad, you are the ones who have made me who I am today—my roots. I won’t ever forget that.
Finally, thanks to everyone who has spent their hard-earned dollars and time on my books, and to all those who have given me support along this journey. Your kind words and encouragement are always felt and welcomed. You make my days brighter.
