Sara and Mark built a tree house in the garden. It had a table, chairs and a little kitchen.
They played there whenever they could, at making dinner, eating dinner, washing up and cleaning their little tree house with the small broom.
“It’s much better than the real house,” said Sara.
“I agree,” said Mark. “We can do what we like and nobody bothers us here.”
Then a few drops of rain started to fall, followed by a real downpour. And, lovely as the pretty tree house was, it was not very waterproof!
The two children climbed down as quickly as they could and ran to take shelter in the real house.
“Well, a real house is nice too!” said Sara, soaking wet.
