Paul dreams of being a super hero. Dressed in a colourful costume, he will save the good guys and punish the bad ones!
He can’t wear his costume to school. He is incognito, ready to help if the need arises. But nothing happens. Determined, he surveys the play- ground every day of the week. By Friday, boredom wins him over. Paul decides to abandon his career as a super hero. He plays ball with his friends. Suddenly, he falls over and grazes his knees on the gravel. The teacher treats him. Paul grits his teeth without complaining. The teacher says to him smiling: “You’re a real hero!”
Paul heaves a sign and returns to the playground.
So, that’s what it means to be a super hero!
