Have an intense desire to be united to fellow believers. Pursue harmony with others enthusiastically. Peace is powerful. It will keep you stuck together with Holy Spirit Super-Glue! Don’t let the devil or another person divide you from other followers. Guard your peace and stay together.
Keeping peace and harmony among believers was the apostle Paul’s desire too. He wrote, “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought” (1 Corinthians 1:10). The devil will work overtime to disturb and disrupt this peace, however. He will set you up to get you upset with others. Why? Because Satan knows how powerful people are when they are united in peace. Most things that happen are not worth losing your peace over — nor your power. So stay glued together!
