“The people brought children to Jesus, hoping he might touch them. The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus was irate and let them know it: ‘Don’t push these children away. Don’t ever get between them and me. These children are at the very center of life in the kingdom. Mark this: Unless you accept God’s kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you’ll never get in.’ Then, gathering the children up in his arms, he laid his hands of blessing on them.”

Kingdom Kids

Have you ever spent time with little kids? They might irritate you sometimes, but you can learn a lot by observing them! The simple, unwavering trust in the heart of a child is something Father God really loves. The beauty of believing with childlike faith means you give attention to your heavenly Father’s presence. Simply put, faithgirlz love spending time with Father God! One of the best things about being with God is that he lifts you up higher. In the presence of God, you’re like a small toddler on the shoulders of her father, seeing things the way he does.

Maybe you didn’t earn the grade you wanted on that test. Perhaps Mom won’t let you watch that movie. When you’re unable to see the good in a situation, Father God can. Today, no matter what comes your way, ask your heavenly Father to pick you up and put you on his shoulders, so you can see things the way God does.
