“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.’’

— Matthew 25:34 – 36 (NLT)

Mind Your Mission

Have you ever received a list of things to do? Jesus Christ had a list of things Father God assigned him to do too. Jesus said, “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (Luke 4:18 – 19). Now that’s what you call good work!

Are you ready to get in on the action? With some help from the adults in your life, you can serve right now, faithgirl! And please don’t say, “But I’m too young.” Girls like you can be the most compassionate and generous people in the world. Your energy is amazing! And though there is plenty of work to be done, there are not as many people willing to do it. Today, you can begin to change the world. Ask Father God how.
