How cool would it be to have your picture above that title in the yearbook? Actually, it might be cool for a while, until everybody forgot about it and went on to the next thing.
Jesus says that you’re more God-filled when you’re just happy to be who you are. There’s nothing wrong with being drop-dead gorgeous or American-Idol talented or the girl everyone wants to be around. But you don’t have to be that in order to be filled with God. You just have to be you. Then you will be:
• Miss Peaceful, who isn’t always worried about what other people think of you.
• Happy Girl, because you’re free to be.
• Way Loved, because people adore and respect you for being just yourself.
That’s the inheritance God the Father wants you to have.
