  10. 10. Two-way contracts, introduced in 2017, allow an NBA team to have two more roster spots in addition to its normal allotment of fifteen. For the 2021–22 season, two-way players would receive a flat salary equal to 50 percent of the minimum player salary applicable to someone with zero years of NBA experience ($462,629). In most cases, two-way players are expected to split time between the NBA and the G League.
