Orange County Romance Writers is a nonprofit organization that supports aspiring and published writers in the development of their craft and careers through events featuring expert speakers, courses, and networking efforts. Based out of beautiful Orange County, Southern California, members meet on the second Saturday of each month, either online and/or in-person. New members are always welcome.
A fundraising project for the organization, Romancing Orange County is a collection of short romances and women’s fiction, each featuring Galtero family © descendants. All contributing writers are active OCRW members.
The Galtero rancho and family—and all the stories set within its world—are fiction, created by the individual authors. Though some stories reference historical events, all characters and situations are the invention of the author. Any similarities to persons living or dead, or actual events, is purely coincidental.
